Sectors
  • Aerospace

Within the Aerospace industry sector Omega Automation has many year’s experience in the design and manufacture of bespoke materials handling systems. Omega Automation designs every materials handling system using 3D modelling software.

Manipulators and gripping attachments used to load & unload components from CNC machines are precision engineered to enable precise location of components. Our lifting equipment is available as manual, semi-automatic or as a fully automated handling system.

Overhead crane systems with rigid mast hoists and encoder controlled movements are capable of lifting and loading components into areas where direct overhead access by standard electric chain hoists is not feasible, rigid mast hoists have eccentric loading capabilities and can lift heavy loads with minimum defection of the hoist. An alternative to the overhead crane system for such applications is the use of a balancer arm. Pneumatic balance arms are available with several types of control, the most popular being “zero gravity balance”, this system utilises compress air to control the lifting equipment upwards and downwards movements and is integrated with a pneumatic sensor mounted on mechanical gripping or vacuum clamping heads which may be attached to the balance arm.

Fully automated product storage retrieval systems are designed to be integrated with an automated conveying system to present the components in the correct orientation to a robotic or Cartesian lifting system adjacent to a CNC machine or press.

  • Automotive

Historically the Automotive industry sector has been competitive and remains one of the most demanding industries to supply materials handling systems to. Price, reliability and relentless cycle times mean that handling equipment not only has to meet stringent specifications but to be affordable too.

Omega Automation not only design and manufacture bespoke materials handling systems to meet the above criteria but to meet customer budgets too. Omega Automation designs every materials handling system using 3D modelling software.

Manipulators and gripping attachments for handling glass, doors, trim or engine components line-side are precision engineered to enable precise location of components. Our lifting equipment is available as manual, semi-automatic or as a fully automated handling system.

Omega Automation design and manufacture of bespoke materials handling systems for the food & beverage industry sector. Omega Automation designs every materials handling system using 3D modelling software.

Fully automated product storage retrieval systems are designed to be integrated with an automated conveying system to present the product/components in the correct orientation to a robotic or Cartesian lifting system adjacent to a packaging or palletising system.

We are able to offer turnkey solutions on a wide range of automated materials handling systems.

Integration of case erectors, printer, label application equipment, check weighing systems and taping machines is undertaken.

Fully automated palletising systems comprising of Pallet dispensers, pallet conveyor, shuttle carts, product conveyor, accumulation conveyor and palletising robots are available; we are able to integrate palletising systems with high speed pallet wrapping equipment.

Manipulators and gripping attachments used to load & unload various products are precision engineered to enable precise location of components. Our lifting equipment is available as manual, semi-automatic or as a fully automated handling system.
